"“A magical family Christmas” My wife and I decided for the first time to bring our families together for Christmas. Choosing a venue for such an occasion is no small feat and after an extensive search we found Albright Lodge and it surpassed all of our expectations. We wanted to hire a whole house rather than stay in a hotel and what we got in Albright was something that felt like our home for 5 days rather than just a house we where staying in. Our family ranged from a toddler to a 93 year old and Albright suited everyone's needs and gave us the space and surrounding to have a magical memorable family Christmas. The owners have a loverly sense of style that suits this wonderful old home and gives its a warm welcoming feel from the moment you walk in the door. There are so many little touches around the house and this was added to by having tasteful Christmas decorations that where in keeping with the overall feeling of the house. The local area is filled with lots of lovely country pubs, spectacular walks and is on the doorstep of historic Shrewsbury."
Ben Watkins Christmas 2016"I stayed here with 9 other ladies for a weekend away and the only word I can describe our stay is 'perfect'. The owners were absolutely brilliant in responding so quickly, sorting out activities for us to do, giving us all information of the local area, leaving a gorgeous homemade cake and prosecco for our arrival...the list is endless. They even dropped us off at the local country club and organised a private yoga lesson. They go far beyond what is expected. The house is stunning. A huge variety of bathrooms and bedrooms, all beautifully and tastefully decorated. The views are beautiful, rain or shine, with a lovely tennis court, badminton table, water features. The pictures really don't do it justice. Highly recommended. We will be back! "

We were very impressed with all we encountered: your house is fabulous, stylish but with humour and warmth. It felt so welcoming;as if you were there in person. Your cakes were very tasty but what touched us, was the fact that you went to the trouble of baking them for us. We cant thank you enough; your care, hospitality and eye for detail supplied a perfect base for a lovely weekend. "
Coach House booking March 2018Albright Lodge is set in a rural location but only 9 miles from the historic market town of Shrewsbury with over 200 individual shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants. The house has spectacular views over the Shropshire countryside to Long Mountain and the grounds feature an award winning Italianate garden.
Albright Lodge can be reach from London via train in under 2.5 hours. The owners can then arrange transport from Shrewsbury station to the Lodge.
